About This Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Worker. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
As a Personal Care Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes. This may involve assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and administering medication, as well as providing domestic assistance with tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light household cleaning.
In addition to these responsibilities, you may also be required to provide social support and transportation to medical appointments, community activities, and other outings. You will also be responsible for monitoring the overall wellbeing of our clients and recognising any changes or concerns that may arise.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also require a Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability, and a current driver's licence and vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes
* Assisting with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and light household cleaning
* Providing social support and transportation to medical appointments, community activities, and other outings
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to management
Requirements
* Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability
* Current driver's licence and vehicle
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
