As a member of the Singtel Optus IoT Sales Team (within the Pre Sales Group) you will have a support and sales role in positioning, promoting, educating, and selling the full range of IoT solutions in the field of Private Wireless Networks (4G/5G). Your focus is ensuring our IoT portfolio is a significant focus within the Optus Enterprise and Business. This includes supporting our Account Executives, State and National Executives to assess, resource and roll out successful product execution across 4G/5G, Private Wireless Networks and IOT product-built solutions.
What You'll Do
A key focus of the Sales Specialist role is ensuring the allocated resource toward direct or indirect channel focus and implementation.
Role
You will work closely with your teammates, Account Director, and Sales Director to provide appropriate market intelligence, target opportunities, liaise with direct channels, and achieve the targeted financial and qualitative aspects of the role. This will include:
* Managing sales pipeline across the related IoT portfolio
* Supporting and guiding GTM activities to build sales funnel in allocated areas and priority accounts.
* Regular engagement and focus with Product Managers to drive the financial plan and achievement
* Ensure various internal sales stakeholders are educated, supported, and mentored on the value of the IoT and Private Wireless Network portfolio
* Developing Technical expertise to engage with various stakeholders who have varying interests ranging across solution architecture, commercials, budgeting, GTM readiness and Innovation.
* Assist Product Team with market feedback to improve product pricing, features and ensuring successful execution in market.
* Being a Champion across allocated products and represent Optus in external and internal events.
* Internal sales enablement to educate and momentum with the broader workforce to sell connectivity.
* Record of enterprise sales and meeting revenue targets YOY.
* You will be responsible for focusing on and achieving the IoT Annual Operating Plan via:
* Private Wireless and Campus Network Connectivity Sales to Enterprise Customers
* Focus on Prime solutions such as Automation, Logistics, Health, Telematics and Asset Tracking, Analytics, and related solutions
* Provide frequent updates to your pipeline and related activities within the IoT portfolio
You will be contributing to an Asia Pacific wide Singtel Group execution in the IoT and 5G enterprise space and therefore will be required to collaborate with your colleagues through the group to align on solutions, vendors, and technologies wherever possible and ensure solutions are transferrable wherever possible.
What You'll Bring
* 5 + Years of Experience with most recent experience in sales or a senior support role
* Bachelor's degree in business is desirable
* Prior experience in a Sales Role or Support role with Revenue and Target responsibilities
* Professional style and experience working with mid-level Executives in the ICT Industry
* Demonstrated effectiveness in supporting various channels to enable sales outcome.
* Ability to deliver under time, resource pressure, and meet deadlines.
* Good business judgement and the demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
