At HR Surveyors, we're a specialist engineering surveying company working across major civil, building and construction, and infrastructure projects nationally. We're looking for a motivated Survey Assistant to join our growing team and learn the ropes of engineering surveying through structured on-the-job training.
About the Role
As a Survey Assistant, you'll work closely with our Engineering Surveyors and Survey Technicians to support field and office-based surveying activities. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in getting started in the surveying industry. This is also a full-time position; however, there is flexibility for a part-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with on-site surveys by setting out and marking survey points.
Help collect and record survey data accurately.
Support the calibration, maintenance, and transport of survey equipment.
Communicate with the team to plan work schedules and report on progress.
Follow company safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
About You
You're practical, reliable, and eager to learn and will bring the following:
A strong interest in surveying.
Great attention to detail and communication skills.
A willingness to learn and follow instructions.
A current driver's licence (essential).
Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain one).
