Based in Canberra, we are a large scale federal delivery program seeking to appoint a talented Infrastructure Engineer with strong secure infrastructure and systems design experience to join our engineering team. Established as a long term national capability, the program delivers resilient, secure ICT solutions that support critical operational outcomes across government environments.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a rapidly expanding federal delivery program with long term investment and multi year delivery horizons. Our engineering teams operate across complex, distributed ICT environments delivering secure, resilient infrastructure and system solutions. We specialise in infrastructure, platforms, networking, applications and systems engineering across protected environments.
We are now looking to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong design, integration and assurance capability to join our high performing team.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Immersing yourself as a key member of our engineering team, you will provide technical leadership across infrastructure and systems engineering activities spanning multiple projects. You will report on current system infrastructure and hardware, assess platform capability, and lead the design, specification, selection and development of secure information system solutions.
You will coordinate the design of subsystems and integration of end to end solutions, identify and resolve program support deficiencies, and convert business and technical requirements into integrated and automated technology outcomes. Working with varied stakeholders, you will advise on infrastructure direction, build consensus, and provide trusted technical guidance to both the customer and program teams.
Your role will involve close engagement with vendors to assess products, incorporate them into overall designs, and support implementation and technical resolution. You will ensure infrastructure deliverables meet schedule expectations and deliver value for money for CoA.
You will produce and maintain engineering artefacts including High Level Designs, system configurations, quality assurance plans, build guides, scripts or playbooks, and standard operating procedures. You will also provide technical assurance through objective quality evidence, training material assessment, and formal judgements of significance across the system lifecycle.
