We are a small, family-friendly solar and battery company looking for a part-time IT technician with a passion for marketing to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, technology, customer engagement, and marketing, with the opportunity to develop into a sales role for the right person.
You will primarily assist customers remotely with communication and monitoring issues on their solar systems, support our team in improving internal IT systems, and help promote our brand online. Flexible hours and days can be arranged for the right candidate.
About the Role
Your responsibilities may include:
* Troubleshooting and resolving customer solar monitoring and communication issues remotely
* Talking customers through simple fixes over the phone
* Assisting with customer engagement and support calls
* Helping maintain and improve our Zoho CRM database
* Supporting internal systems including HubSpot, Zoho, Podium, and Google Drive
* Occasional site visits to resolve communication or connectivity issues
* Supporting improvements to internal workflows and data management
* Contributing to marketing efforts, including social media content, website updates, and online campaigns
* Helping showcase our company as a trusted, customer-focused renewable energy provider
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting
* Has strong communication skills and is comfortable speaking with customers
* Is comfortable learning new software systems
* Has experience with HubSpot, Zoho, Podium, Google Workspace, social media, or website management (preferred but not essential)
* Has general IT or technical aptitude
* Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks
* Passionate about marketing, social media, and building customer engagement
Solar industry experience is not required – full training will be provided.
