**The opportunity**
The General Manager of Risk Management and Culture is a senior role responsible for implementing and embedding Bupa's risk management frameworks and practices. They ensure effective risk management and compliance with Bupa's obligations. Reporting to the BHI Chief Risk Officer and operating as a 2IC, the role leads the Risk & Governance Leadership Team and oversees BHI's risk program. They lead a team of risk partners and analysts to identify and assess risks, maintain quality risk management information, analyse incidents, provide risk advice, monitor risk management, and promote a strong risk culture.
Key requirements include commercial knowledge, experience in leading risk management initiatives, stakeholder influence, effective communication, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.

**What do I need?**
- Experienced leader with 10+ years implementing risk and control frameworks in insurance, healthcare, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for conveying risk concepts and delivering valuable management information.
- Skilled in leading risk workshops, developing controls, and creating simplified standard operating procedures.
- Proven ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations for improved performance.
