Your role as a Regional Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of your region with a focus on building on the success of your retail team, and in turn, of Bendigo Bank in the area. A highly collaborative role, working in partnership with the state leadership team, Community Bank boards and other key stakeholders.
In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:
- Coaching and developing leadership competencies in the branch leaders across your region
- Guiding our branch leaders to shape and enhance their strategies for optimising profitability, community connection and delivering an exceptional customer experience in alignment with the state strategic plan
- Overseeing performance and understanding the individual needs of your branches, which are made up of various sizes, maturity, structures and communities

This is a permanent, full-time position based in in the Canberra, supporting branches across the Canberra and South Coast region. Some travel within regional ACT and NSW will be required.
**What you'll bring to the role**
To succeed in this role, you'll influence the growth and development of our branches and staff within our communities. We'd love you to have:
- People leadership with the ability to develop, coach and manage performance
- Strong communication skills to deliver clear expectations across the region
- Proven sales leadership through implementing strategy to drive business
- Effective and influential presentation and public speaking skills
- Experience in building a strategic plan for the market
- Strong relationship management with ability to effectively network and engage with your community and partners
- Understanding of financial management, business acumen and risk framework
- Experience in retail banking (desirable, but not essential)
- Experience working with a board (desirable, but not essential)
