As a key member of the operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and promotion of racing events.
This is a full-time position with flexible hours that requires exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
 * Prepare agendas and record minutes for committee meetings and annual general meetings.
 * Manage correspondence and maintain accurate records.
 * Oversee the work of key support staff, including the camping caretaker, racecourse supervisor, and bookkeeper.
 * Conduct regular facility inspections and report to senior stakeholders.
Event Coordination
 * Coordinate all aspects of racing events, from logistics to catering and security.
 * Liaise with trainers, jockeys, and volunteers to ensure seamless event execution.
Communication
 * Serve as the primary point of contact for club members, stakeholders, and the public.
 * Issue timely updates and notifications regarding racing events and club activities.
Promotion and Growth
 * Develop strategies to promote racing events and membership opportunities.
 * Support sponsorship and partnership efforts to drive revenue growth.
Requirements
