Avenue Print, Design and Mail is a leading print, design, and mail business with over 60 years of trading history located in Moorabbin Victoria. We have a full-time position available – Monday to Friday.
We are searching for a Digital Printer & Finisher. Organised and energetic - we are looking for someone who is switched on and can work across multiple areas in a print environment, an all-rounder Previous Print experience is welcome, however, it is not essential. We are prepared to train you. More important is attitude and initiative.
About the role
The position requires a highly organised and detail-oriented person to work in our customer service and digital print production area. The person holding this position must be flexible in providing support to the rest of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a team to deliver great service to our clients.
* Digital file handling, digital printing, and finishing.
* Delivering quality products to meet the expectations of our clients.
* Stock maintenance and general administrative responsibilities.
* Determining client needs, providing appropriate solutions, and managing expectations.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Genuine passion for customer service.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and rapport-building ability.
* Experience in the Print and Signage industry, but not essential.
* Digital press and wide - format printer production experience (but not essential).
* Experience (but not essential) using guillotines, laminating, binding, scoring, folding, perforating.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. (but not essential)
* High attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
* The ability to learn new systems and processes.
* A positive attitude and the ability to problem solve.
