About The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our dynamic perioperative recovery team. As the clinical nurse you will act as a professional resource, passionate mentor, and role‑model to junior team members, while working collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager to implement quality‑improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.
- Demonstrate highly developed communication skills with a strong patient‑ and customer‑focused approach.
- Work in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the department operates safely, efficiently and in line with best practice standards.
About You
- Relevant registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum three (3) years’ post‑graduate experience in an area of speciality.
- Hold a relevant post‑graduate qualification or be working towards it.
- Ability to act as a positive role‑model with excellent communication and delegation skills.
- Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
- Advanced understanding of ANMC competencies as per nursing registration.
Remuneration
On offer $54.72–$58.82 per hour + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1–gr4).
