* Plan and execute the complex logistics of foreign assignments, including organising travel, visas, accreditation, and booking field crews.
* Lead the coverage strategy for major international events such as significant global elections, partnering closely with the digital team for cross‐platform amplification.
* Maintain relationships with foreign news partners including AP/Reuters & Fox News to source material and arrange live content.
* Maintain relevant guides and help train other newsroom staff in how to access foreign content.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 8 years of television experience with a proven track record of leading and managing teams, ideally within foreign environments.
* High‐level skills in planning comprehensive news coverage alongside outstanding news judgement and a deep understanding of international current affairs.
* Deep understanding of the legal considerations of news production, with practical ability to write, voice, and edit packages if needed.
* Exceptional time‐management skills, the ability to withstand high‐pressure environments, and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
* A purposeful, principled collaborator who takes pride in delivering high‐impact results while fostering a culture of honesty, integrity, and teamwork.
