Offer description

Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm.

Join Corrs as a Part-Time Casual HR Administrator!

Corrs Chambers Westgarth is seeking a proactive and detail‐oriented HR Administrator to join our team on a part‐time casual basis in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload across HR administration, systems support, and project‐based initiatives, and who thrives in a fast‐paced, people‐focused environment.

You will provide hands‐on support to the HR team, contributing to the smooth delivery of core HR services and a positive employee experience across the firm.

About the Opportunity

As a Part‐Time Casual HR Administrator, you will support a broad range of HR operational activities across the employee lifecycle. This includes maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR systems administration, and assisting with compliance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

In addition to day‐to‐day administration, you will contribute to discrete HR projects such as onboarding enhancements, policy and documentation updates, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement of HR processes and templates.

What You'll do

In this role, you will administer and maintain employee data and records within our HR systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with internal policies and relevant legislation. You will prepare HR documentation, support onboarding and employment changes, track compliance and training requirements, and assist with reporting and analytics.

You will also collaborate with the HR team on a range of project‐based activities, which may include digitising and streamlining processes, supporting change initiatives, assisting with policy and procedure reviews, coordinating employee surveys, and improving HR templates and workflows to enhance consistency and efficiency across the firm.

At Corrs, we help you achieve your ambition - at every stage of your career. Who We're Looking For

You bring experience in HR administration or a similar people‐focused operational role, with confidence working across HR systems and documentation. You are highly organised, detail‐oriented, and committed to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.

You communicate clearly, manage competing priorities effectively, and take a proactive, solutions‐focused approach to your work. Exposure to HR project work, process improvement, or policy support is advantageous, as is familiarity with Australian employment practices.
