The Role
We are seeking a Graduate or early career professional with a passion for transport and shaping the current and future journeys we encounter in our daily lives. If you are an Engineering student that has a passion for shaping the future of transport and want to work in a field that has long term impact, this opportunity may be for you.
SMEC's Transport Planning & Advisory business aims to develop innovative solutions for safer, more efficient travel across the transport sector from roads to rail to freight and everything in between, working on projects across the globe.
Our Graduates support the delivery of local and interstate projects covering everything from traffic and transport engineering and road safety to transport planning and advisory. You will be supported by senior mentors that are experts in their field and be part of a thriving team.
About You
Suitable applicants will have/be:
* Engineering (or related field) graduate with good academic performance;
* Demonstrable interest in transport planning and/or transport engineering;
* Developed knowledge in analytical methods, tools and principles
* Sound ability to gather, compile and interpret data
* Strong written and oral communication skills
