Manager - Health & Injury Management
Tier 1 Organisation | South Australia | Hybrid Working
We are partnering with a Tier 1 organisation to appoint an experienced Manager - Health & Injury Management to lead a high-performing function based in South Australia, with flexible hybrid work-from-home options.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping injury management strategy, ensuring legislative compliance, and delivering best-practice outcomes across worker's compensation and well-being programs.
The Role
Reporting to a senior executive leader, you will:
* Lead and develop a team of 3 Health & Injury Management professionals
* Oversee end-to-end injury management and return-to-work (RTW) programs
* Manage worker's compensation claims with a strong focus on early intervention and durable RTW outcomes
* Provide expert advice on fitness for work and complex case management
* Act as a key internal partner, delivering account management across multiple business units
* Drive proactive risk management strategies to reduce workplace injuries and claims costs
* Ensure compliance with South Australian self-insurance legislation
* Contribute to continuous improvement and strategic uplift across health, safety and well-being frameworks
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
* Minimum 8 year's experience in injury management, worker's compensation or related leadership roles
* Demonstrated experience in self-insurance management in South Australia
* Strong working knowledge of injury management and RTW legislation
* Previous exposure to Victorian and/or Western Australian legislation (highly desirable)
* Proven people leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* A strategic, outcomes-focused mindset with strong attention to governance and risk
