News Corp Australia is seeking a dynamic Client Strategy Managerto join our team in Southbank, Melbourne.
This pivotal role focuses on translating client business objectives into high-impact, integrated media strategies that leverage our extensive print, digital, video, and data assets.
You won't just sell media; you'll co-create innovative, measurable solutions that drive tangible commercial success for Australia's biggest brands.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of best-in-class, integrated media strategies and compelling pitch narratives in response to complex client briefs.
Become the expert in our proprietary audience data and research.
Use these insights to uncover unique market opportunities and inform cutting-edge strategies for major client accounts.
Work closely with Sales, Planning, Editorial, and Product teams to ensure the proposed strategy is viable, commercially sound, and delivers maximum value across all News Corp assets (digital, print, video, social, data).
Create and deliver high-impact, persuasive presentations to clients and agencies, clearly articulating our value proposition and strategic vision.
Drive innovation by identifying new ways to package, position, and sell our solutions, staying ahead of media consumption trends and competitive shifts.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a strategic, planning, or client-facing role within a media owner, media agency, or relevant advertising/consulting environment.
Proven ability to develop and articulate complex media strategies that directly address client business challenges.
Strong understanding of the Australian media landscape, particularly integrated digital ecosystems, data-led targeting, and premium content opportunities.
Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills—you can simplify the complex and make the compelling case for investment.
A collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can influence multiple internal and external stakeholders.
