Responsibilities across the Finance Department based at the Civic Centre by providing financial assistance and support for specific projects, with a focus on financial management, reporting reconciliations and service review.
The successful applicant will have:
* High level of numeracy and accuracy.
* Sound and accurate typing and word processing skills utilising Microsoft Office Programs (particularly Excel spreadsheets) and relevant database management.
* Excellent skills in the operation, analysis, improvement and maintenance of computerised accounting applications.
* Qualification in accounting (or equivalent) or demonstrated relevant experience.
This fixed term position is until 30 June 2024.
