Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our fast-paced counter service operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a proven track record of success in similar environments. You will work closely with our front-of-house and food preparation staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and contribute to the growth and development of our restaurant division.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve commercial targets, including purchasing, pricing, and promotional initiatives.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Recruit, roster, train, and supervise staff to ensure exceptional customer service and a positive working environment.
* Monitor and maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
Requirements
* Diploma (or higher qualification) in hospitality management or similar, with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or
* A minimum of 3 years' relevant managerial experience in Restaurant, Café, fast Food, or Quick Service environments.
* Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage a fast-paced retail food environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
* Solid understanding of food safety and WHS requirements, with the ability to implement and maintain these standards.
* Commercial acumen and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
