Job Description
This position requires a candidate with a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Administering bedside and personal care
* Assisting clients in water activities (e.g., pool)
* Helping clients with bathing and personal hygiene
* Assisting with regular exercises, such as walking
* Feeding or assisting in feeding
* Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
* Planning therapeutic diets and menus
* Providing companionship
* Shopping for food and household supplies
* Preparing and serving nutritious meals
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses required:
* First Aid Certificate
* Experience with Elderly and Persons with physical disabilities
Security and safety requirements:
* Criminal record check
* References
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
* Bending, crouching, kneeling
