Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Front of House Coordinator to join our dynamic team 2 days a week.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, ideally in a medical or healthcare setting. They will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, answering incoming calls, managing patient data and medical records, coordinating with medical and administrative staff, maintaining the reception area, and providing administration support to the nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
* Answer incoming calls, address inquiries from both patients and their families.
* Manage patient data and medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
* Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
* Assist with general office administration tasks as required.
* Comply with all privacy regulations and policies.
* Ensure effective management of all patient admissions and discharges in the inpatient management system.
* Provide administration support to the nursing staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. They will also have proficiency with office software and booking systems, a professional and compassionate demeanor, and knowledge of basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and Internet.

* Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, ideally in a medical or healthcare setting.
* Demonstrated commitment and provision of exceptional customer service.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.

* Proficiency with office software and booking systems.

* Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy laws.
* Knowledge of basic computer applications including Microsoft Office and Internet.
* Understanding of medical terminology.
* Good communication skills and ability to liaise with Bookings and Admission, as well as Theatre reception.
* Demonstrated ability to work well within a team.
* A proven professional phone manner.
