About the Role
* Preparing fresh and nutritious meals for residents online with their dietary needs
* Managing all resources within the kitchen including equipment and food supplies within your approved budget
* Maintaining a hygienically clean kitchen that is fully compliant with the Aged Care quality standards
Qualifications
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
* A reliable team player
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
* Basic Food safety Practices Certificate
* Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
* Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) preferred
* To be able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
* Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
* NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
