Job description:
We're looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Warehouse Officer to join the team at Pajingo Gold Mine. This is a residential position based in Charters Towers, working on a family friendly 5/2, 4/3 roster.
About the Role
As the Warehouse Officer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility, supporting the supply chain by ensuring materials are available, accounted for, and stored safely. You'll work closely with site teams to meet operational needs and uphold a high standard of customer service, safety, and accuracy.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Receiving, storing, issuing and recording materials using SAP.
* Unloading of the daily freight truck
* Ensuring all goods are handled and stored safely, especially hazardous materials.
* Maintaining a secure, clean, and well-organised warehouse.
* Serving internal customers at the warehouse counter.
* Participating in stocktakes and ensuring accurate inventory records.
* Communicating clearly across departments and contributing to continuous improvement.
About You
You're a team player with solid warehouse experience in a mining or industrial environment. You take pride in your work, have a strong safety mindset, and are comfortable using systems like SAP or similar. You're reliable, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
What you'll bring:
* Current Forklift Licence.
* Current C Class Drivers Licence.
* SAP experience or similar.
* Previous warehouse or procurement experience (mining preferred).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Commitment to safety and following procedures.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
* Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.
