As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the primary point of contact for an Allied Health Department.
The Position
You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional reception, performing administrative duties and providing efficient administration services to Consultants, patients and all stakeholders.
Maintain confidentiality in line with Code of Conduct & comply with all relevant Policies and Procedures. Protect patient privacy by handling medical, personal, and financial information confidentially at all times.
* Responsible for performing medical reception tasks in a professional manner, including:
* Customer service
* Answering telephones
* Cash handling and payment processing
* Greeting patients politely and ensuring the appointment system is run efficiently
* Managing queues through telephone, email and face-to-face interaction
Advise patients on billing processes, issue invoices and receipts, process payments, prepare banking and reconcile accounts.
Data collection and management - collect, organize and monitor data efficiently.
Appointment scheduling, cancellation and rescheduling.
Account follow-up, claims processing and reporting.
Schedule hospital theatre lists, tests and obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals.
