About the opportunity

Based in Darwin, Altrad are seeking a proactive Site Administrator on a 5:2 work pattern, to join our team and provide essential support across site operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of project administration, safety, document control, workforce coordination, and reporting functions. You’ll work closely with site leadership and a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the efficient, safe, and compliant execution of works.

In this role, you will:

* Provide high-quality site office support including accurate data entry, filing, labour timesheet consolidation and submission, daily force reports, and general administrative assistance.

* Coordinate workforce logistics such as site access requests, compliance checks, PPE issuance tracking, new starter welcome communication, and visitor mobilization.

* Support procurement activities by sourcing supplier quotations, obtaining required approvals, raising purchase requisitions, expediting purchase order status, and completing goods receipt in the ERP system upon delivery of goods and/or services.

* Support project operations through roster maintenance, coordination of camp accommodation bookings, flight bookings, compilation of payroll hours, and the processing of leave and travel change request forms.

* Support site asset and logistics activities by tracking equipment utilisation, completing equipment timesheets, maintaining asset system records, and assisting with stock takes as required.

* Assist with document and records management across the project, including document control, meeting minutes, training records, MDRs, and formatting of deliverables.

* Support HSE and compliance activities by assisting with safety inspection data entry requirements, and supporting with permits to work as required.

About you

You’re an organised, proactive, and results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes.

* 3+ years’ administration experience in an engineering or contracting environment, ideally within the coating and insulation industry.

* Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with exposure to systems such as PRONTO, and SAP desirable.

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

* Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural workforce and willing to support a broad range of on-site and off-site activities.
