Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Broker Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Channel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our brokers, ensuring they have the necessary information to help their customers achieve financial success.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide ongoing communication and support to brokers throughout the life of a transaction
* Maintain ownership of individual files from lodgement to settlement, including calculation of income for loan serviceability and responding to lending scenarios
* Utilize a strong understanding of mortgage lending credit policies, processes, and products to ensure seamless transactions
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Collaborate as part of a team to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
* A solid understanding of mortgage lending credit policies, processes, and products
* A sound understanding of the National Consumer Credit Act
* A working knowledge of financial institution operational and compliance requirements
* Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills
* The ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A strong attention to detail
* A positive 'Can Do' attitude
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building relationships
