**The Opportunity**
As a result of growth and confidential major project opportunities, we are currently receiving expressions of interest for **Laboratory Managers** and **Senior Technicians** to join our established teams based in our **Adelaide** or **Perth** offices.
**What you will do**
- Supervision and management of laboratory staff including training and upskilling of technicians
- Safeguard the laboratory by always adopting safe operating procedures and processes
- Manage routine field and laboratory tests on soil, aggregate, & rock and other materials e.g. geosynthetics, under senior review and in line with the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) standards.
- Liaise with internal and external clients, with a focus on delivering against project deadlines.
**What we will love about you**
- More than 5 years' experience working in a soil laboratory environment - highly regarded
- Experience in earthworks operations with Level 1 earthworks supervision to AS3798 and Level 2 earthworks testing
- Be flexible in working a FIFO arrangement
- A current Nuclear Gauge License - highly regarded.
- A good understanding of Australian Standards for soil, aggregate and concrete testing
- Current Australian manual drivers' license - essential
- OH&S Induction card
- A high level of initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm and be a team player
- Excellent communication skills, motivation, and commitment to deliver work to the highest standard will be highly regarded
- Exceptional record keeping and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Previous NATA signatory experience would be an advantage
- An understanding of QA processes - highly regarded
- Cert IV or above in Laboratory Techniques (or other relevant tertiary qualification)
