Space Propulsion Technician
We are seeking an experienced technician to join our team and play a key role in the development of advanced propulsion systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a professional work environment, building and testing subassemblies, and ensuring the quality of production units.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and tools.
* Assemble and test propulsion systems, verifying fluid and electrical connections.
* Perform system checks, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace environments.
Preferred Skills:
* Possession of A&P license or ASE Master certification.
* Experience with CNC machining and tube cutting equipment.
* Knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
