About the Role
Join Applus+ in Darwin as a Senior Plant Inspector (Rope Access) on a 6 month fixed term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly experienced local team, working a Mon-Fri roster, 10.5 hours per day.
We are seeking a locally based, Rope Access Senior AICIP Inspector with extensive plant inspection experience and strong technical capability across a range of NDT methods. CUI Inspection experience is highly desirable.
Principal Duties
* Conduct Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing
* Liaise with clients in regard to the inspection and where required reporting, ensuring a courteous manner is maintained at all times
* Supervise Assistants, Trainees whilst on the job ensuring that they conduct themselves appropriately and maintain adherence to the scope of work.
* Ensure that equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition at all times and where required is calibrated.
* Compile written reports in a timely manner
Required Certification - Essential
* AICIP or API 510 & 570
* IRATA Rope Access
* ISO NDT Certifications - UT, MT, PT, RT (desirable)
Additional Requirements
* Applicants will require a minimum of 5 years fully qualified inspection experience.
* CUI Inspection experience highly advantageous
* This is a local/ residential position. Applicants will need to be based locally in Darwin or willing to relocate for the duration of the project.
