We’re seeking a Marketing Coordinator to step into an established role within our team, continuing the great work already in place and helping us deliver engaging campaigns, support brand growth, and strengthen communication with our valued customers.
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for end-to-end marketing activities. Reporting to the Communications Manager, and working closely with other key stakeholders including the GM Sales, CEO, and Product Manager, this role will be very hands-on in the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and assets to ensure a full multi-channel approach. You’ll identify opportunities for improvement and develop and implement plans to support the attainment of the strategic plan
You will be a creative thinker with the ability to strategise and analyse effectively. This role is ideal for a highly competent, enthusiastic, and driven marketing professional with first-hand experience across the full scope of traditional, digital, and social media marketing activities. It will suit someone who is able to quickly come to grips with the industry nuances and trends and incorporate that information when developing campaigns.
As a product-driven business, we pride ourselves on being product experts. While you don’t need prior technical knowledge, you must be willing to understand the technical nature of our products and apply that knowledge in your marketing activities (full training provided). This includes developing marketing materials and technical documents such as legislation guides, product technical flyers, and Maintenance & Troubleshooting guides. These are critical success factors for KPS and mandatory from the marketing department.
Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management: Plan, create and execute organic and paid social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube ensuring alignment with brand voice and engagement goals.
2. Email Marketing:Plan, create and execute email marketing campaigns (EDMs) tailored for different customer segments, utilizing effective segmentation and content strategies. Maintaining regular communication and growing customer touch points and our database.
3. Asset Creation & Design: Create visually engaging marketing assets using Canva, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
4. Local Area Marketing: Support local area marketing initiatives by collaborating closely with the sales team, coordinating marketing materials, and aligning promotional activities to enhance local market presence. This includes the management of merchandise and point-of-sale materials for our nationwide wholesaler network.
5. Group Marketing: Management of group Brand Guidelines, Website and Loyalty Promotional assets including content development.Assist in generating content for various marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, social media, EDMs, promotional content and other adhoc requirements ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging. As well as help develop comprehensive communication plans that integrate messaging across all channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with organisational objectives and target audiences.
6. Technical Product Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of our products and their technical features to ensure all marketing activity is accurate, credible, and positioned with authority. This includes creating legislation guides, product technical flyers, and Maintenance & Troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications and requirements
1. Tertiary qualification in Marketing or relative experience.
2. Experience with Mailchimp, Canva, Meta ads & Wordpress.
3. 3+ years’ experience working strongly with B2B & B2C in a Marketing role.
Knowledge and skills
1. Highly proficient in managing and leveraging all major social media platforms to enhance brand presence and engagement.
2. The ability to create visually appealing content that aligns with brand aesthetics, Graphic design skills are highly valued.
3. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective documentation and presentation.
4. Exceptional professional communication skills, including strong writing and editing abilities to craft compelling marketing content.
5. Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to understanding and meeting customer needs and expectations.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills, demonstrating a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
7. Collaborative work style, adept at working within team environments while also capable of working independently to achieve goals.
