School Leadership Team Member - Special Education
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our school leadership team as a member overseeing special education services. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on curriculum and inclusion practices, build partnerships with parents, agencies, and community groups to support students, and manage resources to achieve educational goals.
About the Role
* Manage and coordinate advice and support from Special Education and Early Childhood Development Programs.
* Provide guidance to school leaders on planning and implementing reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities.
* Coordinate targeted teaching and case management for students requiring significant adjustments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices, experience in leading or coordinating programs supporting students with disabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement systems to monitor and record data on students with disabilities.
* Support staff in accessing specialist services and professional development.
* Participate in school decision-making and contribute to school goals and vision.
