About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced leader to fill a key position as Ground Services Manager at Mackay Airport.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety and Compliance: Drive, enforce, and manage Safety and Compliance standards in accordance with Airline and Company Standard Operating Procedures.
* Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate cohesive relationships with the Airport Authority and Airline Customer stakeholders.
* Workforce Management: Oversee the recruitment process, proactively identifying opportunities for growth.
* Performance and Resource Management: Manage staff performance and provide objective feedback, guidance, and support.
* Audits and Reporting: Oversee regular Airline and Company audits, presenting feedback and results to key stakeholders.

Leadership and Management
You will lead a dynamic team of over 15 employees, making it imperative to possess strong leadership skills combined with exceptional emotional intelligence, integrity, self-awareness, and effective communication.
Operational Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on fostering and nurturing strong and proactive relationships with our valued Airline Customers, based on trust, respect, and exceeding their expectations.
* Foster collaboration between Ramp and Customer Services teams.
* Cultivate cohesive relationships with Airport Authority and Airline Customer stakeholders.
