The Role: What You Will Achieve
As an APS6 Equivalent Web Developer, you will be a key player in an agile team, ensuring the reliability and enhancement of high-volume export and import systems. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking activities across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment).
* Designing and developing API services and comprehensive technical specifications.
* Analysing, designing, coding, and testing improvements across the export systems portfolio.
* Providing crucial production support, troubleshooting, and solving complex errors in business software systems.
* Engaging with business and technical stakeholders to deliver effective IT solutions.
Essential Technical Skills & Experience
We require proven expertise in the following technology stacks and disciplines:
* Core Development: C#, JavaScript/JQuery, CSS, ASP.Net, Telerik/kendo UI ASP.Net for MVC.
* Architecture & Tools: WCF, N-Tier Application, Windows Service, Microsoft Visual Studio 2019, GIT, SQL Server 2008.
Key Focus Areas (Web Services Expertise is Mandatory)
Candidates must demonstrate strong experience in:
1. Microsoft Web Services implementation.
2. Working with XML Based Web Services.
3. Designing and implementing Security measures for Web Services.
4. Developing robust Web Services Architectures to meet complex requirements.
5. Creating high-quality Technical Documentation for API and service usage.
Highly Desirable Skills
* Cloud experience, specifically with Azure Cloud.
* Expertise in Performance Optimisation of web services.
