Job Description
The Finance Transformation Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Implementation of the following key systems:
- Take a lead role in the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning (data migration, model/report build, UAT, training & continuous improvement).
- Support the implementation of NetSuite, and associated systems.
Data Management & Report Building:
- Support the FP&A; team as required in building and design dashboards & reports using PowerBI and other technology to support Self Service reporting objectives - communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders that is understandable, useable and conveys insights using data visualisation techniques and methods
- Collaborate with FP&A; team, business units and the broader Finance Team to identify key Finance reporting needs
- Source and analyse financial & non-financial data from various systems, ensuring robust data integrity & security
- Provide high level support, advice and expertise in developing a finance data management framework, supported by key IT & Sustainability and Risk stakeholders
Management Accounting:
- Re-engineer accounting workpapers and processes for intercompany cost allocations, management fees, revenue and CAPEX projects, commercial retail accounting and billings
- Support Chart of Accounts continuous improvement and support system configurations
Business Readiness:
- Provide high level support, advice and expertise in with the maintenance and development of a business systems knowledge base, including report library, process mapping & documentation on all key activities - current and future state
- Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices and streamline reporting and analysis procedures.
ERP Implementation Program:
- Provide high level support, advice and expertise on project management office (PMO) tasks
- Assist with the development, coordination, administration and maintenance of the project plan
- Work strategically with system vendors, consultants, IT, divisional managers, and other stakeholders as required, to ensure clear understanding of expectations, requirements and roadblocks
- Provide high level support, advice and extrapolating detailed, well-structured user acceptance test cases based on functional requirements and technical specification to enhance the quality and efficiency of the UAT process.
- Lead the user acceptance testing process for Workday Adaptive Planning, with the support of the process owners.
- Lead data migration preparation tasks, including data review and cleansing where required
- Support with the redesign of existing workpapers/schedules streamline the data migration efforts
- Support with maintaining internal systems issues log and assist in identifying resolutions and process improvement opportunities - current and future state
- Provide high level support, advice and expertise with change management processes across all modernization initiatives, including coordinating related training to corporate and business unit finance teams
