Robo-Tek is an Australian robotics company specialising in robotic cleaning solutions for residential and commercial environments. We're expanding our workshop team and are looking for a Workshop Technician (Entry Level) to join us in a hands-on, technical role with genuine progression.
This is a great opportunity for someone starting out, with training provided and a clear pathway to higher skill levels.

About the role
Working in our Melbourne workshop, you'll support the repair, testing and preparation of robotic equipment, ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time. You'll be trained across our product range and supported by experienced technicians and managers.
This is a practical, workshop-based role — ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and learning technical skills.

Key responsibilities
* Assist with repair, testing and quality checks of robotic equipment
* Accurately record jobs and repair data in internal systems
* Support spare parts handling and stock control
* Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
* Provide basic after-sales technical support to customers (training provided)
* Assist senior technicians and the workshop manager as required

What we're looking for
* No prior robotics experience required — full training provided
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail
* Comfortable using computers and basic systems (MS Office)
* Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
* Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential):
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Mechanical, electrical or technical interest
* Customer service experience

Pay & progression
* Starting rate: Award-based entry level (Manufacturing Award – C14)
$24.28 per hour + super
* 3-month review: Progression to C12 level for the right candidate
$25.85 per hour + super
