About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanic to fill a skilled trade position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect damaged suspension parts and mechanical components to ensure they meet quality standards.
2. Reassemble and fit new mechanical and suspension parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
3. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to verify that repairs meet or exceed industry standards.
4. Test drive vehicles to confirm that they meet established repair standards.
5. Perform wheel alignments using advanced equipment.
6. Update diagnostic and wheel alignment systems as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
7. Label and store parts for easy access and identification.
8. Verify the condition and accuracy of new parts before installation.
9. Make necessary adaptations based on diagnoses to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
10. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize productivity.
About You:
1. Hold a recognized qualification in automotive mechanics, such as an apprenticeship or formal training.
2. Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
3. Show a willingness to develop skills and advance professionally through continuous learning.
4. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
5. Display high attention to detail and a process-oriented approach to ensure consistent results.
