English as an Additional Language Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EAL teacher to join our team, who has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and assessment services to students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in teaching EAL students and will be able to demonstrate their expertise in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver EAL classes to students at various levels of proficiency
* Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress and achievement
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in teaching and assessment practices
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
Requirements:
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
* Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
* Four-year Bachelor of Education with TESOL as a method, or equivalent qualification
* Graduate Certificate in Education (TESOL), Graduate Certificate in TESOL, or equivalent qualification
* Experience working with EAL students and demonstrated knowledge of the EAL Framework and Australian Core Skills Framework
