Location: North Queensland Kidney Transplant Service, Townsville University Hospital
The NQKTS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Coordinator will play a key role in the North Queensland Kidney Transplant multidisciplinary team, providing expertise to integrate culturally capable care that considers the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families, and carers.

Salary range: $4765.30 to $5286.40 p.f. (HWF5)
Annual leave with 17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications (Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care) and proof of registration (if applicable).
Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
Possession of class C drivers' licence.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
Probation period may apply.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
