About the RoleAbout the Role Shadbolt Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex fabrication and construction projects within our Defence, Infrastructure, and Energy portfolios.Based in Burton, South Australia, this role works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate technical, engineering, and project control activities — ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery across multiple projects.You'll play a key role in planning, workpack development, materials management, and engineering support, contributing to Shadbolt's reputation for excellence in Australian manufacturing and defence sustainment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor project progress and reportingDevelop and manage workpacks, drawings, and technical documentationSource, procure, and track materials for project deliveryProvide engineering support for estimating, cost control, and technical queriesLiaise with clients, supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain alignmentSupport inspections, test plans, and quality verification activitiesAbout YouYou're detail-oriented, organised, and technically strong, with a passion for delivering quality outcomes in fabrication and engineering environments.
