CELOTTI Workforce is currently seeking a Front of House Salesperson to join our client, a commercial and retail-focused construction business specialising in small commercial refurbishments and fit-outs.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with hands-on construction experience to step into a customer focused front-of-house support position.
You will be responsible for directly engaging with customers as part of the front-of-house sales team while also supporting front-of-house sales and showroom interactions.
Our client is specifically seeking someone with a construction background who understands materials, building processes, and project timelines, allowing for accurate and efficient estimating without extensive training on construction fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:Compile, issue, and follow up quotations with customersEngage directly with customers as part of the front-of-house sales teamAssist customers in the showroom and onsite to select and purchase flooring productsWork closely with internal sales representatives and account managersProvide shop floor and showroom sales support as requiredConduct field estimating and attend site walk-throughsReview plans, specifications, and documentation to support accurate quotingComplete quantity take-offs and costingsIdentify and support commercial sales opportunities while on site
Ideal Candidate:Trade or construction background (carpentry desirable)Strong understanding of construction materials and build sequencingExperience reading plans and specificationsStrong written and verbal English communication skillsStrong computer skills requiredForklift licence preferred but not essentialWilling to obtain Working With Children (WWC) Card if requiredOpen to further training, including Cert IV Trade Qualification (training offered outside standard hours)
