About The Role
The Governance & Improvement work group focuses on providing systems and processes to ensure consistent, evidence-based best practices. The Governance & Improvement Quality Partner supports the Lead, and Assistant Director in informing improvements to ensure the effective delivery, development, and evaluation of systems and processes that support patient care.
The Governance & Improvement work group is one of three work groups within the Quality Unit, alongside Safe Systems & Performance and Consumer Partnership & Experience. Together, we work to ensure the provision of Safe, Effective, Connected, and Personal care every day, for every patient, every time.
Key Responsibilities
Possess excellent knowledge of internal and external frameworks that support QualityHave a solid understanding of the committee structure and functions at GHUnderstand the requirements of standards relevant to GHActively promote and support the GH audit scheduleConduct audits, collate, and analyse data, and provide infographics and other reports as needed to local areas, Operational, and Governance CommitteesAssist clinical and corporate areas with Quality ActivitiesEducate and support GH staff in effectively using electronic tools, such as RiskMan, GH Auditing Platform, and SharePointCollaborate with GH staff and consumersReport writingGap AnalysesFacilitation of Practice Improvement groupsAccreditation support /lead as delegated
Skills & Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in Quality ManagementStrong attention to detailSkilled data analysis and trend identificationSkilled in reportingExcellent time managementMentoring of junior and or new team membersCurious thinkingContribute idea to the direction of the work groupHighly motivatedTeam player but able to work autonomously
