Delicatessen Team Member
As a Delicatessen Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold deli products and ensuring customer satisfaction is the top priority.
* HACCP training is desirable but not necessary
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous customer service experience is an advantage
* The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multitask under pressure
* A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers
Main duties include:
* Embodying our brand values by being proud, energetic, imaginative, and community-based
* Preparing customer orders across all fresh food areas by making sandwiches and rolls, serving hot food, and slicing meats using store portion control measures
* Cooking, preparing, and displaying the foods sold throughout the day
* Maintaining the counter displays across all fresh food departments to the highest standards at all times
* Demonstrating your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personal recommendations with customers
* Efficiently, professionally, and in line with store policy addressing customer queries
