About the Role
As Principal HR Consultant – Employment Relations, you will:
* Provide expert advice and case management on workplace matters including performance, conduct, grievances, and organisational change.
* Act as the subject matter expert in employment relations, supporting leaders across the organisation.
* Lead and contribute to HR projects, strategies and initiatives aligned with the department's strategic workforce plan.
* Develop and present high-quality written briefings and documentation on complex HR matters.
* Build and sustain strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
* Coach and support the development of the broader HR partnering team.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Public Sector experience is preferred.
* Extensive experience in employment relations and workplace case management.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, confident advice on complex workplace issues.
* Proven relationship-building and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives.
