About the role
We are seeking a Broome based Case Worker to provide tailored, trauma‐informed support to women and children experiencing Family Domestic Violence.
In this full‐time role, you will work in the community, delivering outreach case management and emotional support that fosters safety, stability, and resilience. Reporting to the Manager, Kimberley Family and Domestic Violence, you will be part of a dedicated therapeutic team, walking alongside women and children as they rebuild their lives in safety and dignity.
About you
To ensure a safe and supportive environment for women and children experiencing Family Domestic Violence, we are seeking female staff only for this role. This is essential to maintain a space where women and children can feel comfortable, understood, and free from potential power imbalances or trauma, allowing them to receive the support they need.
We are looking for a passionate, caring and resilient individual who has the ability, sensitivity and discretion to work effectively in an often emotive environment and who has:
* Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent (desirable)
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues related to people who have experienced trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties.
* Demonstrated ability to be innovative, flexible, reliable and work autonomously
* Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
* Driver's Licence
