About The Role
Our client is an ASX-listed Australian egg producer supplying major retailers nationwide. With farms across NSW and Victoria, the company manages the full supply chain from production to processing and distribution. It offers a range of eggs and is focused on quality, animal welfare and reliable supply to customers.
Responsibilities
* Lead safe farm operations in line with OHS policies and procedures.
* Oversee daily site activities including sheds, equipment, feed, maintenance and waste.
* Ensure livestock health, welfare and compliance with company standards.
* Maintain quality, hygiene, biosecurity and food safety requirements.
* Manage alarms, backup systems and on-call roster readiness.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting.
* Train, supervise and allocate duties to staff and contractors.
* Manage rosters, performance and workplace behaviour in line with HR policies.
Requirements
* Relevant qualification (AQF Bachelor's degree or equivalent) or minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
* Strong people management, communication and staff training capability.
* Demonstrated experience in organising and scheduling workforce activities.
* Sound knowledge of animal husbandry practices.
* Solid understanding of occupational health and safety management.
