Job Title: Cardiovascular Research Lead and Grants Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our cardiovascular research initiatives in South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering collaboration, managing the SA Cardiovascular Research Network (CVRN), and administering state-based research grants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide operational and strategic support to the SA CVRN Executive and Rising Stars Sub-Committees.
* Develop, promote, and administer Heart Foundation SA research grants for CVRN members.
* Lead the planning and execution of key events such as the Annual Cardiovascular Showcase, Emerging Leaders Symposium, and capacity-building workshops for researchers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with CVRN members, research funding bodies, institutions, local health networks, and government agencies.
Requirements:
* Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in health and medical research or a related field.
* Strong understanding of the health and medical research landscape in SA and Australia, including funding schemes and networks.
* Expertise in grant management and administration.
* Experience in organizing research, capacity-building, and networking events.
