* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
* Be the central point of contact and communicate with the site team, contractors, and leadership on safety matters
* Facilitate and oversee site-specific inductions, ensuring proper worker onboarding and compliance with training requirements through 1Breadcrumb
* Maintain site WHS records and documentation, ensuring alignment with SBP Australia and client safety management plans
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace health and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a WHS role within construction
* Strong knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act, Codes of Practice, and industry standards
* Excellent communication skills with confidence in engaging with site teams
* Experience and confidence using WHS management platforms such as Procore and 1Breadcrumb
* WHS qualifications such as Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher)
* Essential: First Aid Certificate, General Construction Industry Card
* Preferred: Relevant High-Risk Licenses (e.g., work at heights, forklift, scissor lift, elevated work platform, confined spaces)
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* A proactive and positive approach to workplace health and safety
* Comfortable working on-site, collaborating with team members, contractors, and interacting with stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and assess risks and resolve safety challenges on-site
* A passion for ensuring the well-being of teams and maintaining high safety standards
At SBP Australia, we invest in our people for the long term. The right candidate will grow alongside us, taking advantage of opportunities to progress as the business expands.
