Associate Position
We are seeking up to 10 experienced lawyers to join our offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney.
This role offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, where you will work closely with our Partners and the wider team, gaining exposure to complex and interesting transactions.
You will have diverse opportunities to specialize in areas of interest while building a strong foundation across your field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting legal documents and agreements
* Managing or assisting on matters and transactions
* Legal document review
* Facilitating negotiations
* Performing due diligence
* Providing legal advice
* Business development
* Mentoring and delegating work to graduate lawyers
About You:
* Experience in one or more of the following practice areas:
o Disputes and Litigation
o Mergers & Acquisitions
o Banking & Finance
o Technology, Media, Telecommunications
o Funds/Pensions, Super, Wealth
o Employment
o Projects & Development
o Competition
o Tax
o Intellectual Property & Trademarks
* Previous experience working in a well-regarded law firm, responsible for tasks such as:
o Drafting legal documents and agreements
o Document review
o Matter management
o Liaising with clients and facilitating negotiations
o Managing, and delegating work to, graduate lawyers
o Business development
o Writing pitch documents or legal articles
o Hosting seminars
* A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others
