Coordinator Regulatory Interventions

* Exciting opportunity to join Liquor and Gaming NSW, we're responsible for regulating liquor, wagering, gaming, and registered clubs in NSW.
* This is a Clerk Grade 9/10 role with a salary range of $129,464 - $142,665 per annum plus superannuation
* Ongoing role based in Sydney, NSW - hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs


About Liquor & Gaming NSW

We are at the pointy end of industry supervision for the liquor, gaming, wagering, casino and registered club sectors in NSW. About The Role  

The role coordinates the day-to-day operations of a team of compliance professionals within Liquor & Gaming NSW

responsible for a range of administrative decision-making activities and projects across licensed premises to support the achievement of regulatory objectives.

Essential Requirements

* Appointment and ongoing assignment is subject to the satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment and ongoing probity screening, in accordance with the L&GNSW Probity Framework.
* Incumbents will also need to meet requirements to be appointed as an Inspector under relevant legislation.
* The person/s assigned to this position will be appointed as a key official and subject to the associated restrictions under section 16(1) of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007 and section 86 of the Casino Control Act 1992.

About You  

* Demonstrated experience undertaking a range of compliance related activities in a sensitive and complex environment
* Demonstrated experience coordinating, overseeing and reporting on performance of a range of regulatory activities within a high performing team
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information clearly and concisely
* Experience in administrative decision-making processes is highly desirable
