The Opportunity
Due to upcoming growth within the Port Hedland region, we are currently seeking a trade qualified Auto Electrician to join the team. As a key member, your role will see you performing electrical troubleshooting services and maintenance, component installations and repairs on various plant and product lines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Australian Accredited Auto Electrical Qualification and a current driver's license, Appropriate Trade Qualification, ( Air conditioning license is highly regarded )
2. Demonstrated experience with mobile plant equipment and heavy machinery
3. Previous field service exposure would be beneficial
4. Inherit requirement to attend multiple sites
5. Demonstrated experience and solid understanding of mining equipment maintenance
6. Understand the importance of Workplace Health & Safety and be proactive in reducing hazards
7. Be able to promote mobile Hitachi equipment while identifying service work
8. Have excellent diagnostic, problem solving and technical skills
9. Ability to work in a team and autonomously

15. Minimum 12hrs paid for all work days whilst working in the Port Hedland on rostered days
16. 1hr of Airport standby time & 2hrs of flight travel time paid to/from the Port Hedland
17. All travel hours on site paid – airport to site, intersite, and site to camp / vice versa
18. Reimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parking
19. Laptop provided to new employees – no more paper timesheets!
20. 12hrs paid fatigue days whilst in the Port Hedland
21. 210hr annual leave & 10 days’ personal leave per annum
