IFYS aims to provide opportunities, in supported environments, for children, young people and families to take responsibility for their own lives and to assist them to have meaningful participation in the community of their choice. Working closely with businesses, corporations, governments and other charities, IFYS delivers a range of specialist support and responsive intervention programs, accommodation, child protection, disability, family support and youth transition services throughout Queensland.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistently outstanding practice. This goal is to be achieved through ensuring leadership development, program management, supervision, training and development of IFYS staff within the Wide Bay area.
This role will lead the team, Residential Care and SILS (Semi Independent Living) programs across Bundaberg and Hervey Bay and play a key role in identifying opportunities for growth in services throughout the region. The Regional Manager will work in collaboration with key local and statewide stakeholders to build purposeful partnerships and contribute to the organisation’s strategic plan. The role will also ensure all aspects of service delivery are maintained to the highest standards, budgets and human resources are effectively managed, and actively innovate and improve processes and practice methodologies to continue to evolve the quality of outcomes for the community and position IFYS as a progressive modern service provider on a growth trajectory.
Fundamental to success in this role will be the seamless ability to build strong relationships and engagement internally and externally, and identify opportunities that enhance IFYS’ services to their clients. You will have a depth of experience leading teams and managing the day-to-day accountability for budgets, human resources, risk management and compliance. You will be a confident, proven, and effective leader with a track record in a service based or community organisation and be passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families in the Wide Bay area.
Tertiary qualifications in management, business or a health-related discipline are desirable, however not essential if you have the passion and experience for the role.
