We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our nursing team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide senior nursing leadership to uphold high clinical practice standards and promote a culture of excellence within the unit.
* Develop and implement effective communication strategies across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
* Sustain culturally safe and person-centred care by fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
* Deliver advanced clinical guidance to support perinatal and infant care, ensuring the highest quality outcomes for patients.
Management & Coordination
* Contribute to the development and implementation of quality documentation, audits, KPIs, and service development initiatives that enhance patient care and staff satisfaction.
* Mentor and supervise staff, providing professional leadership and support to help them grow in their roles and develop new skills.
* Represent the unit on committees and working groups, advocating for the needs and interests of the team and promoting collaborative partnerships.
* Assist in recruitment, orientation, and staff development programs, helping to build a cohesive and skilled team.
